The 3M 8000 Classic Series Particulate Respirators are cupped shaped with a twin strap design and come with nose foam and clip to help provide comfort and fit over a range of face sizes.

The 3M™ Classic Cupped Particulate Respirators are a lightweight mask designed to give you protection in the workplace from particles that are mechanically generated; ideal for sanding, sawing and grinding (P1). The respirator mask features a cupped, convex shape and made from 3M Advanced Electret Filter Material for effective filtration with low breathing resistance.  Masks have dual straps for a secure seal, with nose foam and moldable nose clip for a comfortable, personalised fit.

What is a P1 Rating?

• P1 is a respiratory filter rating under the AS/NZS1716 standards for use in Australia and New Zealand. Protects against mechanically generated particles.
• Filtration rate: Filters at least 80% of airborne particles
• Suitable for: Relatively large particles (>1 micron) generated by mechanical processes, eg. grinding, cutting, sanding, drilling, sawing
• Often distinguished with yellow head straps
